The camps of the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad offer a unique chance for young Swiss living abroad to reconnect with their roots, explore Switzerland’s stunning landscapes, and build lasting friendships.
Several summer camps 2026 still have available spots, providing diverse experiences from sports and outdoor adventures to cultural tours across the country. These camps welcome Swiss youth aged 15 to 18 from around the world, creating a vibrant community that strengthens ties to their homeland. Three main summer camps are open for registration, each offering a distinct experience:
Sport and Leisure 1
Location: St. Stephan, Bernese Oberland
Dates: 4 to 17 July 2026
This camp focuses on active outdoor sports and recreational activities in the heart of the Bernese Alps. Participants enjoy hiking, team sports, and water activities, all while surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
Mountain and Lake
Locations: Hasliberg and Yverdon-les-Bains
Dates: 18 to 31 July 2026
This camp combines mountain adventures with lakeside relaxation. Young participants explore alpine trails, try water sports on Lake Neuchâtel, and experience Swiss nature in two contrasting regions.
Swiss Challenge
Format: Nationwide tour
Dates: 1 to 14 August 2026
This camp offers a dynamic round trip through Switzerland, visiting multiple cities and regions. It’s designed for those who want to discover Swiss culture, history, and landscapes in a compact, engaging format.
