Swiss National Day Events 2025

Swiss National Day, 1st of August, is just around the corner!


Various clubs across Australia are hosting events to celebrate - check out what’s happening near you and join the festivities!

VIC

  • Melbourne (Williamstown), 2 August: Swiss Festival all day at Seaworks, Williamstown. Info


  • Swiss Club of Victoria, 1 August:

    • Swiss Luncheon 12pm for 12.15m start at the Edelwyss Bistro, Flinders Lane, Melbourne. Tickets via link below.

    • Traditional Swiss Dinner with live music from 6.45pm at the Edelwyss Bistro, Flinders Lane, Melbourne

    • Family Lantern Parade 6pm. Meet at Federation Square steps at 6pm for a fun walk with lanterns, heading to the Swiss Club for some light refreshments. Tickets via link below.

  • Adelaide (Montacute), 2 August: National Day Celebration at Montacute Hall by the Swiss Club of SA from 5pm. Info and registration here.


NT

  • Darwin (Marrara), 2 August: Bratwurscht-Dinner by the Swiss Club Darwin from 6pm. Info here.


NSW

  • Sydney (Castle Hill), 3 August: All Day Celebrations from 11.30am in Castle Hill organised by the Swiss Swiss Yodlers and the Swiss Folk Dance Group Alpegruess. Info here.


  • Sydney (Tempe)  24 July,  SCCS Swiss National Day Luncheon at the Concordia Club, Tempe. Info here.


QLD

  • Fraser Coast (Bidwil near Maryborough), 2 August: Fraser Coast Swiss National Day Celebration with bonfire, Cervelat breatle and more. Info here.


  • Brisbane (Highvale), 2nd Aug: Swiss Society of Queensland National Day celebration all day from 11am. Info here.
