Thank you Katja!

At the meeting of the Council of the Swiss Abroad (CSA) on 23 August in Bern, Katja’s term as a member of the Council expired. Katja decided not to stand at the last elections for family reasons. With that, her involvement on the committee of the Swiss Alliance Australia (SAA), of which she was a foundation member, has also ended.

Katja has been a Council delegate since 2017. During this time her service and contribution to the Swiss Abroad in general and the Swiss Community in Australia in particular has been exemplary. Katja attended many Council meetings in Switzerland and she worked diligently to find and improve better outcomes for issues that are important to the Swiss Abroad. Locally, she immersed herself in the community and always volunteered to lend an ear and a helping hand.

We say farewell to a friend and colleague and thank Katja sincerely all for her work and collaboration.
