Profile/Motivation:
I call Australia home, but Switzerland will always remain ‘Heimat’. Engaging in the Swiss Community in Australia brings the two together. My experience as an expatriate for over four decades make me a passionate champion and effective representative of the Swiss Abroad.
For the past sixteen years, I have fulfilled the role as a member of the Council of the Swiss Abroad (CSA) with commitment and conviction. I have worked untiringly to enhance the profile of the OSA – the only organisation whose mission it is to serve the worldwide and growing Swiss diaspora. Together we campaigned for better outcomes for Swiss Abroad and defended their rights and interest.
As a member of the incumbent CSA-team I am proud of what we have accomplished – the building and maintaining of networks for information exchange being one of the most important achievements. I wish to continue on that path, strengthening connections and relationships, whether it be face-to-face, on social media or through my role as local editor of the ‘Swiss Review’. I seek your mandate to represent the Swiss Community in Australia for another term.
