Petition Swissinfo - Independent Journalism matters

SWI swissinfo.ch  reports on Switzerland in ten languages, providing fact-based and independent journalism that connects Switzerland with the world. The Organisation of the Swiss Abroad partners with Swissinfo because it covers many topics that matter to the Swiss community living outside Switzerland.

The federal government now plans to make cuts that could jeopardise Swissinfo’s foreign mandate - and potentially its future. This would send a concerning message at a time when access to trusted, multilingual information is more important than ever.

A petition has been launched calling on members of the House of Representatives and the Senate to reject these cuts.
