The Consular Directorate of the FDFA, the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA)/SwissCommunity and Soliswiss are pleased to invite you to the second webinar of this year. We invite you to the second webinar of this year, on September 16th, 2025, on the topic “The most important tax and financial topics for the Swiss abroad”. The webinar will take place at 12noon Swiss time in German and at 2pm Swiss time in French. It will last approximately 60 minutes. Participation is free of charge.

Living abroad raises many questions, especially when it comes to tax and financial issues. We will give you a concise overview, with a special focus on taxes

How do you read a double taxation agreement and what are the tax pitfalls in relation to income, pension funds, assets, real estate and inheritance? What are the key financial considerations, for example with regard to budgeting, pension provision or estate planning?What is the situation regarding access to banking services from abroad?

Speakers

In addition to experts from the FDFA, SwissCommunity and Soliswiss, an expert from the State Secretariat for International Finance and representatives of banks will also be present. You can ask your questions via chat during the webinar.The webinar will be recorded and will be available to watch on the FDFA, OSA, SwissCommunity and Soliswiss websites after September 16th, 2025.
